I was given a warm welcome on arrival at the hotel. The airport pick up was there waiting and very welcome after a long flight. The staff are all kind, friendly people and can"t do enough to ensure your stay is pleasant and memorable. The location is ideal the building has a supermarket on the second floor and on the first floor more shops and a handy bar at the far end to watch all the premier league football. The Bamboo restaurant serves a varied and delicious breakfast each morning and the other meals are also of good quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Clemantine and Alice (restaurant staff), who remembered my passion preference and offered excellent breakfast recommendations. Aeline (concierge), for arranging a last-minute city tour and shopping with such enthusiasm and expertise. I love you all Hotel 2000 exemplifies Rwandan hospitality at its finest. The Hotel provided us with one of the best buffet breakfasts one can think of even in Western countries. If you ever have to stay in this hotel please don't forget to take advantage of the breakfast. You will love it! The two ladies in charge of breakfast, Betty and Clementine were very professional, excellent customer service qualities, they were always ready to help and even took time to explain the menu contents to visitors. The Hotel has the best Lunch and Dinner menu you can think of in Kigali, the menu has different varieties and they are not expensive. The room we stayed in had a mountain view, even though it was an old room but it was very clean. They had plans to renovate the room soon. 2000 Hotel is strategically located in Downtown Kigali with easy access to everything you can think of, restaurants, transportation, shops and malls. We want to appreciate Betty and Clementine in the Bamboo restaurant as well as Adeline, Keza, Phiono, Moses and Nancy in the reception for making our 12-day vacation in Kigali a memorable one.

From the moment I arrived, I was deeply impressed by the cleanliness, the exceptional quality of service, and the warmth of the staff. The hotel maintains remarkably high standards in hygiene, and the ambiance is one of understated elegance. The restaurant serves an impressive array of continental dishes that cater to a global palate. Whether you're from Africa, Europe, Asia, or the Americas, there's something here for everyone. Placing an order is straightforward, though I did encounter minor communication challenges with some staff due to language limitations. However, this was more than compensated for by the hospitality and dedication of the team. While the entire hotel staff was outstanding, four individuals went above and beyond to make my stay not just comfortable, but memorable: Keza Manuella stood out as the most fluent English speaker on staff. She ensured that I was properly settled into my room upon arrival and continued to assist me throughout my stay—often helping me book local rides and providing clear directions. Her professionalism and responsiveness were invaluable. Paterne also demonstrated strong communication skills and a remarkable willingness to help. When I faced an issue with my credit card, he offered a personal solution by allowing funds to be transferred through his mobile money account and then forwarded the amount to my own account without requesting any compensation. He also gave detailed explanations about the food options, which helped me choose meals that were both enjoyable and suitable for my needs. Myriam, from the restaurant team, ensured that all our meals were delivered promptly and accurately.

Wow! Where to begin. This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. Great communication from the very begining, a seamless airport transfer. The location is perfect for solo exploration of Kigali on foot, as plenty of attractions within walking range. Staff were attentive, friendly, and very keen to ensure I had everything I needed. Breakfast on the roof was lovely, and the restaurant had an amazing range of food in the evening. Room was large, comfortable, and had all the amenities you need. All for a very fair price. Would definitely stay again if in Kigali!
